The MU-050 is a versatile PD Programmable Smart Digital Thermostat designed for modern homes and commercial spaces. It combines intuitive app-based control with direct touchscreen operation via five soft-touch icons along the base, presented on a sleek, tempered glass display.
Installation is simple and cost-effective, requiring no additional router. The globally recognised Smart Life app ensures fast, plug-and-play setup. The MU-050 integrates seamlessly with smart home ecosystems including Google, Amazon, and Apple, allowing for grouped thermostat control and family-shared app access.
Energy efficiency is built-in via an energy-saving mode, providing manual or timed set-back to reduce heating automatically during periods of vacancy, such as holidays.
The thermostat can function as a room or zone controller, managing electric underfloor heating, zone valves, or connecting to underfloor heating wiring centres. Advanced features include:
- Open window detection
- Icon lock to prevent accidental misuse
- Min/max temperature limits to protect children or vulnerable users
- Highly accurate internal temperature sensor adjustable in 0.5°C increments
- Optional external sensor for overtemperature protection or remote sensing
Weekly programming allows up to 6 cycles per day, with separate schedules for weekdays and weekends, supporting 1-week (5+2), 6+1, or 7-day programming patterns.
