Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I control my heat pump remotely from my phone?

Many modern heat-pump systems support remote monitoring and control through a compatible app or Wi-Fi interface. Availability depends on the heat-pump model and control accessories installed.

  • What sensors are used in an air source heat-pump system?

Depending on the system, sensors can monitor outdoor temperature, flow and return water temperature, room temperature and hot-water cylinder temperature to help the controller manage heating efficiently.

  • How are heat-pump controls different from a standard boiler thermostat?

Heat-pump controls can manage functions such as weather compensation, water flow temperature, domestic hot water and different operating modes rather than simply switching the heating on and off.
